Set during the decline and fall of the consumerist empire, a filthy garbage picker is retained as a personal slave by a wealthy ultra-consumer still worshipping at the temple of a life he once knew. Slave is tasked with amassing prized items like Swiffers, cell phone covers and large amounts of hand sanitizer. One night, when a woman joins them in a cheap motel to perform humiliating sexual rituals, Slave has a spiritual epiphany about something he sees on the television, rendering him worthless to the Master.
